Trapezoidal Sub-wavelength Grating Micro-Ring Resonator with High Quality Factor

Abstract

We report the compact trapezoidal structured subwavelength grating waveguide microring resonator with high quality factors 10474 with 3.1μm radius. The trapezoidal shape enables reducing the bending loss of the ring.
