Pre-chirp managed amplification using chirped mirrors for pulse compression

Abstract

We employ high-dispersion chirped mirrors as the pulse compressor and demonstrate an Yb-fiber pre-chirp managed amplification laser system, which produces 55 fs pulses with 43 W average power.
