Abstract

Integrating digital holography with confocal Raman spectroscopy approach is used to simultaneously study chemical and morphological characteristics of microparticles irradiated with a coherent light source. The results suggest that the methodology could be applied to characterize airborne respirable-sized particles in free-flowing aerosol form.
