Experimental Implementation of Directionally-Unbiased Linear-Optical Multiport

Abstract

A directionally-unbiased optical multiport allows a photon to reverse direction inside and exit at any port, including the input port. This multiport could be used as a quantum gate and for efficiently implementing quantum walks.
