Mid IR absorption using Hyperbolic Silicon tubes

Abstract

Doped semiconductors have been extensively investigated for mid IR metamaterials. We theoretically demonstrate mid IR absorber using Doped Si/Si hyperbolic tubes with broad band absorption reaching 0.95 across the mid-IR range.
