Instantaneous Quantum Description of Photonic Wavefronts for Phase-Sensitive Amplification

Abstract

Pure photonic quantum states are composed of two consecutive number states. These enable evaluation of instantaneous amplitudes and phases of any wavefront distributions of photons Sub-Poissonian distributions are shaped without the need for quasi-probabilities.
