A Custom Multi-Pixel Photodetector Probe and Partial Least Squares Regression for the Efficient Identification of Optical Tissue Properties

Abstract

Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy performed using a custom photodetector array combined with partial least squares regression increases the accuracy of optical tissue property extraction. Prediction accuracies of 4.15% (us), 9.02% (ua) are reported.
