Distorted object recognition and identification based on Krawtchouk moments

A reference-free criteria based on Krawtchouk moments is proposed, which shows outstanding robustness against distortion of different kinds, being able to distinguish similar targets with minor difference even when severe distortions have made images indistinguishable.
