Holographic Data Storage based Orbital Angular Momentum

Abstract

Holographic data storage based integer OAM beams with different values of topological charges on a Photorefractive Crystal (PhRC) through a Mach Zehnder interferometer is reported. A phase only spatial Light modulator is included in the interferometic setup for controlling the write beam. Additionally, pentagonal aperture is used to verify the phase state retrieved from PhRC.
