Two Color High-Order Harmonic Generation from Solids Combining Mid-Infrared and Terahertz Pulses

Abstract

In this work, we present our novel approach to explore high-order harmonic generation from solids by introducing a two-color scheme that combines an 80 fs, 3.6 µm mid-infrared driving field with a 2 ps, 600 µm single-cycle terahertz dressing field.
