Enhancing unconventional photon blockade using optimized time-dependent Josephson coupling

Abstract

We use numerical optimal control to find the time-dependent coupling which enhances unconventional photon blockade in a bosonic Josephson junction where the two modes are initially loaded with weakly populated coherent states.
