Polarization-Induced Orbital Angular Momentum Field in a Multilayered Fiber

Abstract

We theoretically examine the vector orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode in a multilayered fiber, and discover that the polarization-induced field component is a modified scalar OAM field with a shifted intensity pattern.
