Temperature Sensor Based on Parallel Mach-Zehnder Interferometers Using Vernier Effect

Not Accessible

Abstract

A temperature sensor based on two parallel Mach-Zehnder interferometers (MZIs) using the Vernier effect is demonstrated. A sensitivity of 2.1020 nm/ °C was obtained in a range from 20 to 50 °C, which is ~ 70.35 times higher than the sensitivity of the single MZI.
