Entanglement of Photonic Angular Qudits

Abstract

We report a scheme to generate maximally entangled states in D-dimensional quantum systems using angular diffraction masks containing N=D1/2 angular slits in the arms of correlated twin photons produced by Spontaneous Parametric Down Conversion (SPDC).
