Spectral reshaping of partial-width Bragg-grating inside SOI core waveguide

Abstract

Novel partial-width entrenched core in few-mode silicon-on-insulator planar waveguide is demonstrated. Core is entrenched with partially filling nano air-gaps. Spectrum is tuned within 1-2µm range. Double-hump spectrum is reshaped in various spectra. © 2021 The Author(s)
