Performance Improvement of Highly Nonlinear Fiber for Future Optical Signal Processing

Abstract

Highly nonlinear fiber is one of the most promising nonlinear media, however it still has two concerns of low SBS threshold and longitudinal chromatic dispersion fluctuation. This paper introduces solution to simultaneously alleviate these drawbacks.
