Computational Holography for 3D Television: Generation, Compression and Display Systems

Abstract

High-end holographic display systems require processing of large data volumes. This bottleneck can be addressed with multiple technologies in computational holography, involving computer-generated holography, compression algorithms (including JPEG PLENO) and hardware-software co-design.
