Impact of Raman Scattering on Temporal Reflection from a Short Soliton

Abstract

We study theoretically temporal reflection of a pulse from a short soliton decelerating because of Raman scattering. The reflected pulse can be temporally focused, analogous to a beam reflected by a parabolic mirror.
