Multi-modal Mammoscope with Photoacoustic, Ultrasound, and Elastographic imaging capabilities

Abstract

We developed a multi-modal imaging system that combined photoacoustic, ultrasound, and elastography for comprehensive evaluation of the breast. The system was validated in phantoms and human imaging studies.
