Enhancing efficiency of microwave to optical signal transduction using Lamb wave supermodes in piezo-optomechanical platforms

Abstract

We show that engineering mode hybridisation between a Lamb-wave resonator and a high g0 mode of an optomechanical cavity can be used to significantly enhance the microwave to optical signal transduction efficiency in piezo-optomechanical platforms.
