Cavity QMD: Synthesizing resonant magnetic near fields using surface acoustic waves in piezoelectric resonators

Abstract

Borrowing ideas from cavity QED, we show that piezoelectric microresonators provide strong surface magnetic fields (cavity quantum magnetodyamics). These fields can be used to efficiently interface and readout nanoscale spin systems with reduced crosstalk.
