Femtosecond Pump-Probe scattering from “Hot” Kerr Index of Refraction in Acetone and Methanol

Abstract

Femtosecond time-resolved pump-probe Kerr index scattering is used to give measurements of the thermalization and decay routes of the motion states responsible for the Kerr effect in Acetone and Methanol.
