Assessment of Collagen Orientation in Scleroderma Using Thin Tissue Sections

Abstract

Optical biopsy is critical in examining tissue specimens for aiding diagnostics. Here, we correlate image entropy, spatial correlation, and Mueller matrix derived orientation parameter to study the organization of collagen in unstained thin scleroderma samples.
