Functionalization of Optical Fiber Tips using Colloidal Nanoparticles

Abstract

We demonstrate a cost-efficient fabrication technique to functionalize optical fiber tips with periodically arranged colloidal nanoparticles using soft lithography and capillary-assisted self-assembly process. The technique works with nanoparticles of different sizes arranged in different periodicities.
