Enhancing collinear acousto-optic filter performance using opto-electronic feedback

Abstract

In this work we demonstrate how an introduction of an opto-electronic feedback loop can enhance the performance of a collinear acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF), narrowing its passband and suppressing the sidelobes.
