Fiber-powered Antenna Using RF Over Fiber for 2-Way Communications

Abstract

We propose a fiber-powered antenna system where an antenna at the remote site is powered wholly by optical energy transferred over an optical fiber and demonstrate 5G transmission in a 2-way wireless communication link.
