No Tradeoff between Coherence and Sub-Poissonianity in Heisenberg-Limited Lasers

Abstract

Let be the number of photons in a coherence time of a laser beam. The Heisenberg limit is = O(µ4), lying beyond the standard limit of = O(µ2). Here, we generalise this result for sub-Poissonian beams.
