Disorder-assisted Energy Transfer in the LH1-RC Complex with a Gaussian Laser Pulse

Abstract

We investigate the effect of disorder in the energy separations in the donor ring of the LH1-RC photosynthetic complex on the transfer efficiency. It was found that disorder significantly increased the transfer efficiency.
