Experiment demonstration of broadband Polarization Beam Splitter based on Bricked Subwavelength Gratings

Abstract

We propose a polarization beam splitter by using bricked subwavelength gratings to control TE (TM) modal effective indices preciously. The measured bandwidth is >72 nm when extinction ratio is over 15 dB.
