Optimization of SERS Sensor Employing Gold Nanoparticles Formed by Rapid Thermal Annealing of Ultrathin Gold Film

Abstract

We demonstrate SERS sensors utilizing gold nanoparticles formed on quartz substrates by rapid thermal annealing of extremely thin gold films. Our sensors achieved highly sensitive detection of self-assembled monolayer of BPT molecules.
