Artifact suppression and improved SNR by phase-locked multiplexed coherent imaging

Abstract

Coherent imaging of high-power laser processing can suffer from artifacts and insufficient signal. By z-domain multiplexing, we achieve phase-enabled image consolidation, automatically attenuating autocorrelation artifacts and improving interface tracking rates by 58% in photon-starved applications.
