Brillion selection of a single mode from dense Optical Frequency Comb

Abstract

The spectrum of Optical Frequency Comb (OFC) consists of millions of modes. Phase - noise-compensated Stimulated Brillion Scattering is applied here to select a true single mode from an OFC with relative stability of 10-17.
