Surface Roughness Measurement based on Eigen-decomposition of Objective Laser Speckle Image

Abstract

We propose a method for surface roughness measurement in terms of eigen-values of the objective laser speckle images. The experiments demonstrate the effect of the machining processes on the speckle characteristics.
