Cell viability test with images from a 3D printed microscope

Abstract

We present an image classification m ethod t o d istinguish b etween v iable a nd nonviable cells, which combines a classifier w ith g radient a nd m orphological o perations. A 3D-printed microscope allows multiplex assays to asses the viability of cells under different culture conditions.
