Abstract

Double-sided illumination is used in light sheet microscopy to improve itsh performance and increase the length of the depth of field (DOF). In the present investigation we explore double-sided illumination for the optical “magic carpet”. We perform numerical simulation and show the DOF increases by 10%, based on the side lobe intensities being less than 20% of the maximum intensity.
