Machine Learning based Cancer Diagnosis in Polarimetric Imaging

Abstract

Polarized light interacts with healthy and abnormal tissue, revealing structural information linked to pathology. We propose application of machine learning to achieve automated, accurate classification of tissue images acquired from Stokes-Mueller polarization microscope.
