Ultra-Broadband Visible to Near-Infrared Absorber Using Oxide-Coated Asymmetric Fabry-Perot Nanocavity

Abstract

We present a model of an ultra-broadband visible to near-infrared absorber utilizing an oxide-coated asymmetric Fabry-Perot nanocavity. The proposed designs predict near-unity absorption over 870-1380 nm and 980-1800 nm wavelength range for normal incidence.
