Structure transitions in ordered arrays of point-vortices under different illumination conditions: Far-field analysis

Abstract

We study the far-field pattern obtained from ordered arrays of point vortices with equal unitary topological charge illuminated by elliptical Gaussian beams. The final vortex distribution exhibit different configurations depending on the initial geometrical parameters.
