Advancing Ultrafast Pulse Frequency Shifting with Elliptical Core Chalcogenide Fiber

Abstract

Here, we demonstrate the Raman-induced frequency shift of 0.5 µm with 50 cm long fiber. Our findings indicate by manipulating the fiber core cross-section and utilizing highly nonlinear chalcogenide fiber, the RIFS is amplified.
