A Fast-speed Wide-angle Freeform Reflective Telescope with a Distant External Pupil

Abstract

An unobscured freeform aspheric reflective telescope is described that is f/2.0 with a 22 degree diameter flat field and has a distant entrance pupil, one focal length in front. Theory behind the design is discussed.
