Abstract

Non-Gaussian imaging phenomenon of GRIN fiber array was discovered by Rees(1).

On the other hand, some experiments were demonstrated which show how corner-cube arrays have been used to approximate phase conjugation(2-4).

It is possible to find an intrinsic connection between them.

In this report, the imaging properties, pseudo-phase-conjugate properties, synthetical imaging aberrations and optimized design for arrays as compact unit magnification imaging devices are given by means of developed matrix optics.
