Abstract
In order to separate more than two different wavelengths in one wavelength demultiplexer for optical transmission lines, usually at least two discrete optical elements, either microoptical or integrated optical, are employed. This is because the collimating and imaging function on the one hand and the wavelength dispersive function on the other hand are usually separated /1,2/.
