THE HELIUM ATOM AND HELIUM-LIKE IONS IN STRONG AND SHORT LASER PULSES: MULTIELECTRON EFFECTS

Abstract

We study the multiphoton ionization of two-active electron systems by ultrashort and intense X laser pulses. Emphasis is put on two- electron excitation in He and two-electron ionization in He isoelectronic series.
