Estimation of pulse duration of M-shell emission from Xe clusters excited by TW Ti:Sapphire laser

Abstract

The pulse duration of M-shell emission from Xe clusters was estimated to be shorter than 100 ps. Prompt x-rays from inner-shell excited atoms or collisionally excited atoms are thought to be generated.
