Inhomogeneous High Harmonic Generation in Krypton Clusters

Abstract

By performing high harmonic generation in a cluster and monomer mixture, we isolate the radiation originating from clusters. Surprisingly this radiation is depolarized. Our experiments show that it is produced by a new recollisional mechanism.
