Tunable Near Infrared Few-Cycle Pulse Generation by Filamentation

Abstract

We demonstrate the production of tunable few-cycle pulses in the near infrared domain. We obtain 2–3 cycle pulses at 1.6 − 2 µm using filamentation process and subsequent bulk group velocity compensation.
