Electron, ion and x-ray beams produced by wakes and shocks in high- power laser plasma interactions

Abstract

When powerful but short laser pulses propagate through plasmas they can excite shocks and wakes. to generate high-energy ion, Electric fields associated with these wakes and shocks are used electron, and x-ray beams.
