High Power Optical Parametric Amplifier Driven by a Sub-ps Yb:Thin-Disk System

Abstract

615fs pulses with 17mJ energy at 3kHz repetition rate are generated by an Yb:thin-disk laser to pump a mJ-class near-IR OPA delivering 25fs pulses. This system targets the generation of intense THz radiation.
