Dual-chirped optical parametric amplifier for pumping multicycle tunable terahertz pulse source

Abstract

Superposition of signal and idler pulses in dual-chirped OPA is proposed for generation of pulses with constant intensity-modulation period. Tunable multicycle THz-pulse generation is possible by varying the chirp and the delay between pump and signal.
