Propensity rules and interference effects in laser-assisted photoionization of helium and neon

Abstract

Angle-resolved electrons from laser-assisted photoionization from atoms are simulated using Time-Dependent Configuration-Interaction Singles. The distributions are interpreted using a propensity rule for transitions in the continuum.
